At Arcose, we look for ways to support our community. Recently, we have reached out to our partner organizations working in the field of Social Housing and have offered them free access to one of our most well-received courses, Asbestos Awareness BC.
Asbestos poses a very serious health risk if disturbed and is found in more than 3000 building products in structures built prior to 1990. Our Asbestos Awareness BC course closely examines asbestos, exploring its history and usage, its risks to health, applicable provincial and federal legislation, and its safe management within building structures.
As a company, we take pride in sharing our knowledge and skills. We understand that for providers of Social Housing, the health and well-being of residents and visitors is of the utmost importance. We would be more than happy to provide this course to other Social Housing organizations in the province, at no cost, and ask you to reach out to us if that is of interest to you.
